Police investigating shooting on East 3rd Street

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police say officers were called to a local hospital just before 8 pm Saturday evening after a person arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Police have identified the victim as 18 year-old Keana Jones and say her injuries are non-life-threatening.

According to Police, the victim was walking east in the 1100 block of East 3rd Street at the time she was shot.

Authorities say the victim told them she saw two vehicles drive past her exchanging gunfire at the time she was shot.

The victim walked to a local hospital for treatment, according to police.
