Police officers receive recognition
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)- Some Chattanooga Police Officers were honored today at Coolidge Park.
Some were recognized for their long commitment to the team, while others were promoted.
"We had a number of people who were promoted to Sargent, Lieutenant and Captain. We had a number of Civilian, non-sworn employees who retired and we had a number of police officers who retired after a full and productive career for their community," says Chief Fred Fletcher, Chattanooga Police Department.
The officers were honored for their contributions and sacrifices for the community.
