Police: Red Bank man stabs woman, then stabs himself

RED BANK, Tenn. (WDEF) — Red Bank and Hamilton County authorities are investigating after two people got stabbed in Red Bank on Tuesday.

Police responded to the stabbing call early Tuesday morning at 514 Royal Crest Drive.

Red Bank Police said they found a man and woman with stab wounds at this residence.

Detectives then investigated and determined that the man stabbed the woman during a domestic dispute. They believe he then stabbed himself.

Police identified that man as Damon Blaine Pittman.

First responders treated and transported the two people to a medical facility.

Authorities are still investigating, but they say criminal charges are pending.
