Police: Red Bank woman arrested for trying to run over kid’s father
RED BANK, Tenn. (WDEF) — A mother in Red Bank is facing attempted first-degree murder charges after attempting to run over her ex-boyfriend.
Red Bank Police said Shekinah Terrell got into an argument with her son’s father on June 10, 2023. They said Terrell stayed inside the car while he was outside his apartment.
When the father attempted to get the child out of the car, Terrell began to drive toward him, according to the affidavit.
The father told police that Terrell missed him twice but also ran into an apartment building and caused damage.
Their son was in the backseat of the car during the incident, the affidavit explained.
The father said he had an order of protection against Terrell following a previous domestic assault.
Now, Terrell faces seven different charges. Among those is an attempted first-degree murder charge.
She is now in custody at the Hamilton County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
