NEW YORK (CBS News) — Reports of shots fired at JFK International Airport in New York City led to confusion and panic on Sunday evening as passengers were evacuated.
The NYPD told CBS New York that multiple calls started coming in around 8:34 p.m. of reports of shots fired at Terminal 8 of JFK Airport.
However, the Port Authority said in a statement that a preliminary investigation indicates that no shots were fired.
