Mayor Andy Berke is back in town from the announcement at the Detoit Auto Show on Monday.
He joined us on News 12 Now This Morning to explain when we’ll see new jobs from the expansion.
“The construction phase the project itself is about $840 million. So those are construction jobs that are coming to our city, if the last time is any indication, it takes a long time to build a new one of these plants. But then you might see.. maybe about the end of next year.. the beginning of the year after.. there is going to start being a ramp up for the production line and then those direct jobs will start coming.”
