Puckett EMS offering chance to become an EMT for free
CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)-As COVID cases continue to spike, medical personnel including emergency medical services are needed.
Puckett EMS is offering the chance to become an EMT for free in 8 weeks.
Puckett EMS will pay for the cost of tuition, certification fees, and class materials.
The company will also provide a full benefits package as a full-time employee during classroom hours throughout the course.
Will Pitt with Puckett EMS said this is a way to help grow the EMS field as the importance of the field has been on full display the last year and a half.
“The need for emergency service providers is growing every year. This program is us proactively looking at the growing need and finding a way to help her move some of those barriers that might make it hard for someone to come into the field,” said Pitt.
