Quadruple murder suspect Austin Drummond captured, TBI says

JACKSON, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The manhunt for the suspect accused of killing four people and abandoning an infant across the state is now over.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) announced around 10:30 a.m. on social media that Austin Drummond is in custody.

Drummond is suspected in a quadruple homicide in Lake County and is also allegedly connected to the abandonment of an infant in Dyer County.

He had been evading authorities since July 29, 2025.

Drummond was also on the TBI’s Most Wanted List prior to his capture.

The TBI says more information will be released soon.
