Rainsville man killed in motorcycle wreck

FORT PAYNE, Alabama (WDEF) – A Sand Mountain man died in a crash Wednesday in Fort Payne.

His motorcycle collided with a Jeep Wrangler before 2PM on Airport Road at Locklear Street.

26 year old Nicholas Delane Sewell of Rainsville was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision is under investigation by the Fort Payne Police Department.

“This is a reminder for motorist to be aware of motorcycles and bicycles sharing the roadway with them.”
