Receiver Amari Jefferson Leaving Alabama For Tennessee

Bama receiver Amari Jefferson is headed back to the Volunteer state.
After hitting the portal last week, the Baylor grad has landed at Tennessee.

Jefferson red-shirted in his only season with the Tide and did not play.

He will have four years of eligibility with the Vols.

Jefferson was a four-star recruit coming out of Baylor.

Jefferson won the TSSAA Mr. Football award in 2023 for Division II-AAA. During his senior year at Baylor, Jefferson had 1,400 yards receiving with 20 touchdowns. He was also a stand-out baseball player.

UT needs wideouts after losing five to the portal last month.
