Red Bank Celebrates 41st Jubilee

This weekend, citizens of Red Bank celebrated their 41st Jubilee at the Red Bank City Park.

It has been two years since the community was able to come together to celebrate. There were over 50 local arts and crafts booths. The MoonPie Move Run 5K and 10K was apart of the festival this year.

Don McKenzie is a member of the organization “Save Red Bank Central Park”. He said events like the jubilee are essential to community togetherness and he wishes the city had more shared spaces to have community activities like the Jubilee.

“Try to convince the city to save that property in public ownership, and develop it into the kind of epic park that would redefine the character of Red Bank,” Mckenzie said. “We need to have the type of gathering space, or commons that people would want to come to and hangout at.”
