Red Bank High School vs. East Ridge High School

East Ridge, TN (WDEF) – East Ridge finally got to enjoy their first home game of the year Friday night.

The home stands at the Pioneers stadium were condemned, forcing East Ridge to move their original home opener.

All of the fans had to sit on the visitors side.

But, the Pioneers still had a sunny disposition because they were at home.

Then it got ugly in East Ridge.

1st series, Quarterback Eric Bennett got blindsided by Cordale Colvin, fumble, Red Bank’s Tra Stamper gets it and he runs down near the 15.

Lions try to cash in, Caleb Tate rolls out and hits Jordan Douglas, looks like a touchdown, but there’s a flag on the play.

Lions have to settle for a field goal attempt and Sandy Boganovich boots it home; 3 – 0 Red Bank.

Pioneers come roaring back, the give to Traneil Moore, hits the sidelines, he should give a shout out to NEWS 12 as he runs right by us.

He goes about 70 yards for the Touchdown.

But, there was a flag on the play.

When have we seen this before.

Pioneers failed to score, East Ridge gets the ball back, with just a few seconds left in the quarter.

They give it to Moore, and he’s gonna find the end zone again, and this time it counts.

A 37 yard touchdown run.

That made it 7 – 3 East Ridge.

Moore had five TD’s and over 200 yards rushing.

The Pioneers go on to win 47 – 10.
