Red Bank home deemed total loss after fire
RED BANK, Tenn. (WDEF) — Red Bank fire officials deemed one house a total loss after a it caught fire on Monday.
A neighbor called 911 to report that the home at 147 Lynda Avenue was on fire.
Red Bank firefighters arrived at the house at 2:20 p.m. and saw smoke coming from both the basement vents and the roof.
The fire department said they had it under control by 2:53 p.m.
No one was injured as a result of the fire, but HCEMS checked firefighters’ vitals on scene.
A family of three is now displaced from the fire, but the American Red Cross will be assisting them with their needs.
The Chattanooga Fire Department, Dallas Bay VFD and the Signal Mountain Fire Department all assisted in extinguishing the flames.
The Red Bank Fire Department is now investigating to figure out what caused the fire.
