Red Tails part of the ground displays at Wings Over North Gerogia

ROME, Georgia (WDEF) – You won’t have to always look up at Wings Over North Georgia.

There will also be flying displays on the ground.

One is a multi-faceted educational tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen of World War II.

You will be able to see a fully restored P-51C Mustang with the Red Tail paint scheme of the Tuskegee Airmen.

The Friends of Army Aviation will bring Huey Helicopters you can look at and even ride.

Wings Over North Georgia has a special spring stop at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport on April 3-4.

The headlining flies will be the Thunderbirds Air Force Demonstration Squadron.
