Red Wolves Road Misery Continues With 5-1 Loss to Greenville
The Chattanooga Red Wolves failed to pick up their first league road win of the year on Wednesday as they lost 5-1 to Greenville. The story of this game was the Triumph’s Lyam MacKinnon. He had a hat trick in the first half and went on to score four goals on the night, which set the new USL League One record for the most goals scored by a player in one game. The Red Wolves finally scored their first goal of the year on the road. It was an own goal. Chattanooga’s Ernesto Espinoza hit one off Greenville’s Nate Shultz, and the ball went into the net. Red Wolves will try to regroup on Saturday as they return home against the Charlotte Independence.
