Reed case pushed to February

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A former security guard charged with assault of a Brainerd High student made a brief appearance in court Wednesday morning.

Josephus Reed was indicted earlier this year on aggravated assault and impersonation of a licensed professional.

A mother of a student at Brainerd complained that Reed had punched her son in the face.

His case was continued until February where it will either be settled or be set for trial.
