Report shows Georgia has worst on-time mail delivery in U.S.
ATLANTA (WDEF) — A new report from the post office supports a Georgia lawmaker’s vendetta against the head of the system.
The new report shows that Georgia has the worst on-time mail delivery in the country.
Only two thirds of the mail was actually delivered on time in the last quarter.
That’s 20 percentage points lower than the national average.
Senator Jon Ossoff has been confronting Postmaster General Louis DeJoy over slow mail in Georgia.
This new report came from DeJoy’s office.
