Reptiles Take Over Camp Jordan

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) – Repticon Chattanooga is back this weekend, bringing exotic creatures and curious crowds to East Ridge. 

Camp Jordan Arena is transforming into a reptile lover’s paradise for this two-day event. 

Visitors explored rows of vendor booths, attended live seminars from reptile experts, and even got hands-on with snakes, lizards, and more.

Raeanna Owens, Reptile Vendor, spoke to News 12 about what this event means to her. 

Here is what she had to say: 

“I personally love the education aspect of it, and I always feel a little bit better if somebody walks away from my table learning anything about a snake or even if you’re scared of snakes, I love getting somebody comfortable enough that they always touch one.”

It was a unique experience that mixed education, entertainment, and a chance to connect with creatures you won’t find at your average pet store. 

No matter your comfort level, Repticon offered something for everyone.
