Republican Catoosa County debate

CATOOSA COUNTY, Georgia (WDEF)- Multiple Georgia Republicans came to Catoosa County debate to see who should be the Georgia Republican option.

Republican vying for a seat for State house district 1, 2, and 3, plus the state senate District 53 were part of the debate.

Matthew Nave said debates like these are crucial to informed voters.

“I think it’s really important in these midterm, just because turnout is extremely low. I think turnout of the Republican Party and primaries is 10 to 15% which is just not acceptable for the kind of elections are running right now. I think that local party should host debates like this and forms so that they can educate voters for who we should put up represents our conservative values,” said Nave.
