Revolving Door of Players For the Titans This Season
You’d think the Tennessee Titans were a minor league baseball team with all the roster changes they’ve been through this year. Every week guys are leaving and new faces are arriving.
Injuries are the main culprit. We’ve already seen running back Adrian Peterson wash through the team trying to fill Derrick Henry’s shoes. This week receiver Golden Tate and former Moc Buster Skrine were among the new additions to the Titans. Players and coaches admit the turnover has been crazy.
Reporter:”Introduced yourself to many people at the team meetings today?” (laughter)
Said offensive coordinator Todd Downing:”I get excited to add some fresh faces around here yep.”
Said quarterback Ryan Tannehill:”We always have a little bit of turnover, but this year it has been heavy. I think yesterday in the team meeting when he introduced the new guys. I don’t remember how many. It was probably like six or seven guys. So you’re trying to look around and match a name with a face.”
Said offensive lineman Taylor Lewan:”I think we’re on the verge of setting an NFL record of most guys played. Every week come prepared to win. As cliched as that is, it’s what we have to do.”
