Reward offered for suspect in fatal hit and run

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – The family of a local woman killed by a hit and run driver is now offering a reward.

On December 12th, 70-year-old Laura Carden was hit by a car while walking in North Chattanooga around 3:30 in the morning.

The driver of the car that fled the scene is described as a black man in a blue or silver sedan.

Laura Cardin died of her injuries on Monday.

Her family is now offering a $2500 reward for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the driver.
