Rhea County authorities arrest 6 people in drug busts
RHEA COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Rhea County narcotics deputies arrested six people on Wednesday, June 12 in a drug investigation.
Authorities executed ten active warrants between six suspects in various areas throughout the county.
The sheriff’s office said they seized 18 grams of fentanyl, 28 grams of methamphetamines, two dosage units of hydrocodone, 417 grams of marijuana, $942 in cash and two counterfeit $20 bills.
They arrested these individuals:
- Adam Lee
- Terri Burton
- Isaac Fugate
- Johnny Sizemore
- Bradley Amburn
In addition to the warrants, TBI agents intercepted packages through the U.S. Postal Service which contained drugs as well.
Those included 14.91 pounds of psilocybin mushroom candy bars, 7 pounds of psilocybin mushroom gummies, 1 pound of psilocybin mushrooms and 1 pound of marijuana wax.
The sheriff’s office said these suspects face the following charges.
Adam Lee:
- Violation of probation
- Contempt of court (x2)
- Attempt of theft of property $1,000-$2,500
- Possession of schedule II meth with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Conspiracy to commit criminal sanction (x2)
Terri Burton:
- Violation of probation
- Failure to appear
- Schedule II possession
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Isaac Fugate:
- Theft of property (shoplifting) less than $1,000
Johnny Sizemore:
- Violation of probation
- Failure to appear
Bradley Amburn:
- Intentional tampering with, remove or vandalism of device
