Rhea County charges pair in meth lab raid
SPRING CITY, Tennessee (WDEF) Before dawn on Monday, Rhea County deputies raided a garage apartment in Spring City.
Sheriff Mike Neal says one of his officers was injured when a suspect threw chemicals at him.
He was decontaminated and cleared by EMS at the scene.
The Sheriff says his officers found a variety of drugs inside, approximately 23.5 grams of methamphetamine (Ice), marijuana, morphine pills, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and Adderall.
They call the operation a meth conversion lab.
They charged Michael Lynn Loden and Jessica Dawn Glass from Birchwood.
Deputies also seized cash and several vehicles in the raid.
