Rhea County High School vs. Ooltewah High School
The Eagles soared into the Owls nest averaging 50-points a game.
Ooltewah’s defense, on the other hand, has not allowed any opponent to reach double digits this season.
In Rhea’s opening drive, Dylan Smith flips it to Noel Patterson for the reverse, and Daniel Dotson pulls it in.
But the drive comes up short when Cody Bice coughs up the ball, and Ooltewah’s AJ Diggs sprints it 80 yards for an Owls TD.
After a big goal line stand prevents the owls from scoring again in the 2nd quarter, Rhea’s Dylan Smith gets stuffed on 4th down for a touchback.
That makes it Owls 9-0.
Owls threatening again, on 4th down London Elrod throws for the end zone and finds Kobe Jones, who gets hit late for a Rhea penalty.
Rhea driving again in the 3rd quarter Daniel Dotson throws long for Noel Patterson who pulls it in.
But again, they’re unable to come away with points.
Ooltewah wins 16-0.
