Rhyne Howard Wins Eastern Conference Player of the Week Honors in WNBA
Bradley Central’s Rhyne Howard has played in the WNBA for about a week, and now she already owns player of the week honors.
Howard has been named the Eastern Conference player of the week. She becomes the first rookie to win the award in the first week of their WNBA career since Tamika Catchings in 2002. Howard averaged nearly 21 points a game as the Dream won three of their four contests.
