Ridgeland Entertains Cleveland and Ringgold in Scrimmage

Rossville, GA-(WDEF-TV) Ridgeland entertained Ringgold and Cleveland in a scrimmage on Thursday evening. Each contest was two quarters. Ridgeland beat Ringgold 24-0 in the first scrimmage. Tanner Hill had two touchdown passes and Terrance Roberts had a scoop and score for the Panthers. In the second contest against Cleveland, Ridgeland’s Julian Brooks had an 86-yard interception return for a touchdown to put the Panthers up 14-0. But Cleveland answered with two touchdowns, and the scrimmage ended in a 14-14 draw. Cleveland and Ringgold then scrimmaged to finish off the night. Ridgeland opens their season on Thursday, August 16th as they face Calhoun in Rome, Georgia, in the Corky Kell Classic. Kickoff is set for 5:30pm.
