Ringgold Fatal Shooting

Ringgold, GA (WDEF) Catoosa County deputies investigate a fatal shooting in Ringgold on Smoketree Circle.

Deputies found one woman dead at the bottom of the stairs of the house.

The homeowner and his on and off again girlfriend were in the house.

The girlfriend told deputies she was in the house and heard a noise.

She called out, but no one answered.

She heard a noise again and got a gun.

She says she saw a shadowy figure and opened fire.

Deputies are looking into the relationships between everyone involved.

No one has been identified at this time.
