Ringgold High School vs. Heritage High School
Ringgold, GA (WDEF) – It was a backyard brawl between Ringgold and Heritage.
This young rivalry has been Tiger striped.
The Ringgold Tigers have never lost to Heritage, posting a perfect 7-0 record against their Catoosa County neighbor.
Ringgold jumping out first Dee King gets the rock, and he knows where to go right into the end zone for a touchdown, giving the tigers the early lead.
Heritage’s coach isn’t to pleased with the ref right there, but he will be happy with what Kahlil Hood was able to do on that run.
Very next play Quarterback Corbee Wilson throws and interception on the 2 yard line right to Peyton Tennant.
Ringgold back on offense with a long connection coming Devin Lancaster finds Joey Collins for 6, making it 14 nothing tigers.
Heritage looking to get on the board, Wilson connects with Drew Sherril for 60 yards to put Heritage right back in this ball game.
Their offense would stike a few more times in this one.
A long run from Hood, who says hello to the endzone and a touch down catch to Jeffery Curtis, but that wasn’t enough in this one as Heritage falls to Ringgold in a nail biter 36 to 34.
