CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — TVFCU Riverfront Nights is coming soon, and their music lineup has been released.

On Thursday, Friends of the Festival unveiled that lineup.

Riverfront Nights will take place on Saturdays in 2024 from May 25 until August 31. The entertainment will begin at 4 p.m.

It’s a free music series that takes place annually at Ross’s Landing in Downtown Chattanooga.

In years past, tribute performances have been a hit. This year, the series is continuing that trend, with bands paying tribute to Jimmy Buffett, The Eagles, Bruno Mars, Fleetwood Mac and Journey. But there will be other musical performances as well.

During Riverfront Nights, Riverfront Parkway will be closed.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets and camp chairs.

They will also have access to a variety of drinks and food. There will be two bars located closest to the sidewalk on Riverfront Parkway and on the lower level. Food offerings will rotate each week.

In addition, the series will include several special events that take place prior to the musical performances.

Other Events

On July 27, Dod’s Diving will bring a high dive competition to Ross’s Landing at the pier. Friends of the Festival said “Competitors will be diving from 60 feet above the Tennessee River. Next year, the height will increase to 90 feet as a pre-qualifying event for the Olympics.”

On August 3, the American Jet Sport Association will bring Jet Ski racing to Ross’s Landing. In the past, the races took place at Chester Frost Park. “The event has grown since it debuted in 2019 and has transformed into a grass roots southeastern racing league,” Friends of the Festival explained.

Once a month, the Chattanooga Football Club will join Riverfront Nights to bring giveaways. “We will also have our inflatable soccer field that anyone is welcome to come play in. We hope to see you there,” said CFC’s Jack Bradshaw.

Guests can also take part in cornhole and giant Jenga games. There will be a doggy pool as well.
