Riverwalk Update

Wednesday the Hamilton County commission agreed to pay Norfolk Southern a little more than $515,000 dollars.And by taking care of all the due dilligence in the beginning, it will help the project. Once it gets started, it won’t have to stop. It can just keep rolling on through."

The Riverwalk will eventually be extended into St. Elmo.

Construction is expected to begin in the Spring.

The county wants to extend the Riverwalk, but couldn’t because Norfolk Southern owned part of the property.

Well, now with the new lease agreement between the two entities, work on the Riverwalk can be completed.
