Roads closed due to emergency water main break
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — We are following reports this morning of road closures in the area due to a water main break.
UPDATE PROVIDED MY CDOT:
Overnight, Tennessee American Water crews attempted an emergency repair of a water main within the intersection of Belvoir Ave. and South Terrace Ave.
During the repair, a piece of equipment failed resulting in the following restrictions until further notice:
- Belvoir Ave. is fully closed at S Terrace Ave.
- Right turn lane of S Terrace Ave. eastbound
An estimated time of reopening is not available, however, additional announcements will be made with updates. We will keep you updated when we learn more.
