Rob Spence Back in College Coaching Ranks at UTC

Chattanooga-(WDEF) Mocs head coach Russ Huesman didn’t have to go far to find a new receivers coach in the off season.
He hired Chattanooga Christian head coach Rob Spence.
Spence spent a number of years in the college ranks before going to CCS.
He even served as the offensive coordinator at Clemson.
While with the Chargers, Spence would visit Mocs practice from time-to-time.
So when UTC called to offer him a job, it was a no-brainer.
Said Spence,”There was just something very unique about this. It was an opportunity to go back and coach in college and not have to move. That’s a nice thing. That was a real advantage right there. Again, this is a special place.”
Said Huesman-“Obviously he has been a lot of different places. Been a coordinator at the highest level. He has done a lot of things. He brings a lot of input to that room.”
