Robber Targets Chattanooga Waffle Houses This Morning

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga police are investigating a pair or armed robberies that targeted local Waffle Houses.

And they believe the holdups are related.

The first robbery was at the Waffle House on Shallowford Road around 1:40 AM

The second was on Lee Highway AT 4 AM.

In both cases, the robber brandished a gun, demanded money and ran.

No one was hurt in either case.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, six feet tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a black hoodie, jeans with a covering over his face.
