Roof collapses on bingo hall in Rossville overnight

Rossville, Ga (WDEF) – Operators of a bingo hall in Rossville don’t know what they’ll do now after the roof collapsed overnight.

Bricks fell on the sidewalk at the intersection of LaFayette Road and Chickamauga Avenue, next to the Rossville Post Office.

Officials believe that rain and wind caused the collapse sometime during the night.

The building has been condemned because of the ongoing threat from the collapse.

The bingo proceeds went to local non-profit organizations, so operators say it could be a real loss for area charities.
