Runaway investigation leads to sexual exploitation sting

DECATUR, Tennessee (WDEF) – Investigators say a case of teen runaways led them to  sexual exploitation charges.

Meigs County investigators were involved in the case of runaway juveniles.

The kids were found and returned home.

But they began to look more into a man who was involved of them running away.

So detectives, DA officials an a TBI agent set up a sting operation on him.

They contacted Raymond Frederick though social media.

And they say he agreed to meet what he believed to be a juvenile in Decatur for sex.

They arrested him when he showed up for the meeting.

The 25 year old Frederick now faces five counts of exploitation of a minor by electronic means, especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, and sexual exploitation.
