Sale Creek house destroyed in fire

SALE CREEK, Tenn. (WDEF) — Sale Creek Volunteer Firefighters were called to a house fire on North Shore Acres on Saturday night around 10:25 p.m.

Officials say a neighbor called in the fire.

When firefighters arrived, Hamilton County officials say they found 75 percent of the house was on fire.

Hamilton County officials say the home was vacant and undergoing a remodel so firefighters worked to contain the fire to the structure.

Sale Creek fire officials say the home is a total loss valued at $70,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Sale Creek Fire Department.

Hamilton County officials say no injuries were reported.
