Sale Creek, Soddy-Daisy residents encouraged to attend growth meeting
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Hamilton County is having a community meeting for residents of Soddy-Daisy and Sale Creek. The meeting will allow residents to give input into the future development of that community.
Mayor Weston Wamp and Commissioner Gene-O Shipley will host the meeting.
They encourage residents to attend and give their thoughts on the planning process.
The meeting will take place Monday, August 21 at 6 p.m. at the Sale Creek Fire Hall. That address is 14828 Dayton Pike in Sale Creek.
Back in March, the county announced their Comprehensive Growth Plan for unincorporated areas. It deals with topics such as education, transportation, infrastructure and zoning regulations.
Officials divided Hamiton County into four regions. The Sale Creek and Soddy-Daisy area is the North End region.
