Santa to scuba dive at the Tennessee Aquarium

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Tennessee Aquarium is gearing up for the holiday season, and Santa is donning his scuba gear.

The Aquarium’s Holidays Under the Peaks celebration starts Monday, November 27 and lasts until Christmas.

On Saturdays and Sundays leading up to Christmas, Santa will dive into the River Journey building’s River Giants and Tennessee River exhibits.

Santa will dive in at 2 p.m. on these days, not including Christmas Eve.

In addition, guests can get a photo made with Santa as well. Pre-purchase of photos will take place November 24 to 26 and December 15 to 24.

The IMAX 3D Theater will hold a PJs and Polar event on Saturday, December 16 at 9:15 a.m. Guests can come dressed in pajamas and enjoy hot cocoa while having an early screening of The Polar Express 3D.

Additionally, the theater will play the film daily from Friday, November 24 until Tuesday, December 26. This does not include Christmas Day.
