Scottsboro woman arrested on drug trafficking charges following traffic stop

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (WDEF) — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a Scottsboro woman on multiple drug-related charges.

On May 13, 2025, officers with the Scottsboro Police Department (SPD) stopped a vehicle in the 3300 block of Bob Jones Road.

During the stop, police recovered 4.7 grams of a methamphetamine/fentanyl mixture and a glass pipe.

According to SPD, authorities arrested Emily Marie Hill.

She was charged with Drug Trafficking and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Hill was booked into the Scottsboro City Jail without incident and later transferred to the Jackson County Jail, where her bond was set at $56,000.
