Secretary of State reminds voters of Election Day Hotline
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Tennessee’s Secretary of State, Tre Hargett, wants to remind voters of the Election Day Hotline ahead of tomorrow.
Voters can call the Election Day Hotline at 1-877-850-4959 or text “TN” to 45995.
These call or text lines are for asking any election related question or to report fraud/any other election related issues.
The text option provides a secure link to Tennessean’s.
This link submits the question/concern directly to the Secretary of State’s Division of Elections.
After the submission is reviewed, the Division then takes appropriate actions with the appropriate people.
“We work with local county election officials to ensure all registered voters have a positive election day experience at polling locations,” states Mark Goins, Coordinator of Elections.
The State’s Division of Elections also wants to remind individuals going to vote that a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee is required to vote.
