Sen. Bob Corker talks about Trump appointments

NEW YORK, New York (WDEF) Sen. Bob Corker gave his first interview this morning since the Trump election.

He appeared on CBS This Morning to talk about the President-elect’s transition moves so far.

Sen. Corker would chair the confirmation hearings for Secretary of State.

Rudolph Giuliani wants the job, but Senator Corker’s name is also getting tossed about for it.

He says he hasn’t talked to the President-elect or his staff about any job.

“I’m reading the same things you are reading.”

Senator Corker endorsed Reince Priebus as Chief of Staff, but said he doesn’t know anything about adviser Stephen K. Bannon.
