Senator Bo Watson hosts ‘All-American Bash’ in Collegedale
COLLEGEDALE, Tenn. (WDEF) — Senator Bo Watson held a Republican bash for the upcoming election and is looking to make a big splash in Hamilton County and the state of Tennessee.
Many politicians attended the event and are excited about what is to come in the 2024 election.
“This is an opportunity to bring all the Republicans of Hamilton County together from both sides of the river. North and South and to share with each other and just have a good entertaining day,” Watson said.
Chuck Fleischmann was also in attendance to encourage and tell people to help make a positive impact on Hamilton County in the upcoming election.
“When you have a super majority in your state, there a tendency to get a little bit relaxed. This is to tell republicans that this isn’t a time to relax. This is a time to really put your foot on the accelerator and really work hard for the candidates that we have running next year,” Watson said.
While the Republican party holds a lot of seats in Tennessee, Watson says that there can always be improvement year after year.
“Our job as a party is to make those candidates successful and make the party more successful. Not only in Hamilton County, but all across the state of Tennessee,” Watson said.
The upcoming election could be the biggest one yet according to Watson and he’s excited for what’s to come.
