Dodson Avenue Duplex Fire / Chattanooga Fire Department

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  Seven people were displaced due to a house fire Monday.

On July 14, 2025, at 9:36 a.m. crews with the Chattanooga Fire Department (CFD) were dispatched to the 3500 block of Dodson Avenue.

The residence had been converted into a duplex.

After crews arrived on scene, they located and extinguished a fire inside the attic of the residence.

CFD said an investigator was called to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

The American Red Cross is currently helping families who were displaced on both sides of the residence.

No injuries resulted from the fire.
