Seven South Pittsburg Football Players Sign College Scholarships

South Pittsburg, TN-(WDEF-TV) Fresh off a state championship appearance, South Pittsburg had seven athletes sign to play at the next level, including Class A Mr. Football winner Hunter Frame.

Frame heads to Bethel University with four of his teammates — Coby Cooper, Ricardo Frazier, Javien Been and Andrew Jenkins.

Luke Dobson stays close to home at the University of the South.

And the Pirates starting quarterback Brayden Sanders will join the Cumberland Phoenix in Lebanon.

Said Sanders: “Ever since I was playing little league football, it’s always something to go play college football.”

Added Frame: “It’s a dream come true. I’ve wanted to be a college football player my whole life. Coming in today, signing that paper, it really just paves the way for my future and what I wanted it to be.”
