Several acres burn in Marion County wildfire Sunday

MARION COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Firefighters reported there was a multi-acre wildfire on Sunday near Ladds Substation.

The Haletown Volunteer Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly before 8 p.m.
Nobody was injured in the fire.
However, Jasper, Jasper Highlands and Kimball Fire Departments came to assist and bring extra water.
Firefighters kept the fire from spreading to nearby residences and businesses.
