According to CFD, the area burning has been challenging for crews to access.
Drones were deployed to scope out the fire, and crews accessed the site through different trails.
As of 11:34 a.m., CFD says they’ve turned things over to the National Park Service and Tennessee Department of Agriculture Division of Forestry.
Residences can expect to see helicopters around the area as they work to contain the fire.
