Several road closures in October
UPDATE:
The Tennessee Department of Transportation announced more traffic delays coming up this weekend.
Crews will be doing concrete repairs on I-24 near the US-27 split in Hamilton County for a few weeks.
TDOT will reduce I-24 eastbound down to one lane near the US-27 split on Friday, October 20. This will last until Monday, October 23.
Additionally, the US-27 southbound ramp onto I-24 will be closed at this time. Detour signs will direct traffic to Broad Street and onto Market Street.
Drivers should be aware of traffic backup and delays over the weekend. TDOT is asking the public to take a different route. But this will not affect I-24 Westbound.
