Shooting on Brainerd Road

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department were called to 5507 Brainerd Road early Sunday morning in respond to a victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The male victim, 21, sustained a single gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect vehicle is described as a gray Buick, with no other suspect information provided to police.

Investigators with the Chattanooga Police Department’s Violent Crimes Bureau continue to follow all actionable leads and ask anyone with information to call 423-698-2525. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
