Shooting in Alton Park prompts massive police response

ALTON PARK, Tenn. (WDEF) — There has been a massive police response to Alton Park this evening.

According to Hamilton County 911 logs, CPD responded to a shooting after 5 p.m.

Witnesses who did not want to be on camera confirmed they saw someone shot.

CPD provided the following statement: “We are investigating a person shot in the 3700 block of Central Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”

They have police tape around one home.
