CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga Police Department responded to a call regarding a person shot who arrived at a local hospital via personal vehicle.

These are the preliminary facts of the incident:

Victim suffered from a single gunshot wound to the left thigh.

The victim’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

Victim told investigators he was standing beside a vehicle when he was shot from a passing vehicle.

Vehicle is described as a 4-door silver Impala.

Investigators with the Chattanooga Police Department’s Violent Crimes Bureau continue to follow all actionable leads.
